St. Paul's Prayer Shawl Group

25 Ladies enjoyed celebrating our Prayer Shawl's 16th Anniversary with a luncheon at MontHill Golf & Country Club.

 It's January 2024, where did 2023 go.  Our group celebrated Judith's and Mary's birthday.  Mary had a big smile when she saw the birthday cake we had for her. Mary reached a special decade birthday. (Judith's birthday was the week before.) Quite a few ladies were able to come out this knit/crochet day.  A great time chatting, knitting/crocheting and enjoying our tea/coffee & cake.  Happy Birthday Ladies!  

 Christmas luncheon at the MontHill Golf & Country Club today.  What an amazing place to host our luncheon. Food & Service went beyond GREAT!  A delicious and happy time was had by all.  We celebrate Mary, Margie & Gail, their birthday is today.   MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Saundra, one of our members, is moving to Ottawa.  She will be greatly missed. We wish her much success on her new adventure, many new friends to make, and to keep those fingers busy making shawls. We had a cake to celebrate and give her a sweet send-off; but unfortunately, she was not able to be here today. Not to worry Saundra, and hubby Dave, the cake is being hand-delivered to you and we all WISH YOU A SWEET SEND-OFF & HAPPINESS ALWAYS.

 Mary, Margaret & Reverend Jann, with our contribution of hats, scarfs for our local Food Bank & preemie hats for the hospital.  We also have some hats, scarfs & miscellaneous items for the Seafarer's  Mission.

 The group is happy knitting/crocheting. Many items to complete by the end of the month.

 Margie has completed her first knitted prayer shawl.  She's only been knitting for about 2 years. There is no stopping her now. Well done Margie.
